Karen - Office Manager
Karen is from Wilmington, NC. She received her degree in Fine Arts from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington and worked for many years in graphic design and marketing. She joined the practice in 1990 and has been instrumental in making the transition of the practices smooth. She enjoys problem solving and keeping the business office organized. Karen and her husband have two Labrador retrievers and enjoy frequent trips to Wrightsville Beach where they enjoy boating.

Melissa - Patient Coordinator
Melissa received her Dental Assisting certificate in 2006 from Penn Foster Career School. She has been with the practice as our Patient Coordinator since July 2007. Her knowledge of financial issues, scheduling and the complex aspects of your dental care make Melissa an excellent resource for both new and existing patients. Melissa is originally from Asheboro NC.  She now lives in Greensboro with her husband, Kevin.  Together they have a daughter and two dogs.

Kim - Hygienist
Kim received her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. She chose dental hygiene because it enables her to combine her interests in educating patients and working in a health care field. Kim joined this practice shortly after graduating in 2001. She loves what she does and it is evident in her patient care. Kim lives in Asheboro with her husband, Tony, who is a fire inspector for the city of Asheboro. Together they have one daughter.

Kelly received her certificate in Dental Hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College, where she graduated with highest honors. Kelly is also a certified Dental Assistant. She has studied social work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She and her husband enjoy traveling and have a dog, Sydney. Kelly joined the practice in 2005 as a full-time hygienist. She is an excellent resource for our patients having been an assistant and a hygienist in this practice.           

Leighton - Dental Assistant I

Leighton graduated from Salem College in May of 2006 with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in chemistry. She has been working in our practice since 2004. Leighton has long been interested in a career in dentistry and will be attending dental school in the fall of 2008. Leighton has lived in Greensboro since the age of 7, also the age she became a patient in this practice. She brings a unique perspective to the staff having been a patient of this practice for nearly 15 years.

Wendy - Dental Assistant  II

Wendy is originally from Lexington, NC. After living is Charlotte and earning her certificate from Central Piedmont Community College, she joined the staff in 2005. Wendy and her husband have two wonderful sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets. While Wendy is in the office part-time, she is has a wealth of information regarding dentistry to share drawing from her 10 years of experience in this profession.
